Bar soap with the scent of an afternoon amidst the Ojai valley - citrus, green, warmth, spice, and a hint of floral. Litsea cubeba, grapefruit, orange, bergamot, petitgrain, tagetes, coriander, ylang ylang, pepper, frankincense, myrrh, labdanum. Scented using only essential oils.

Our cold process bar soap is built on coconut oil, olive oil, sustainable palm & palm kernel oils, castor oil, and shea butter. A dense, creamy lather — conditioning and cleansing in equal measure. Colored with rose clay tinted by the natural orange of citrus essential oil — the blush of a pink moment melded with a nod to the citrus groves of the Ojai valley. 
Scent

Time slows here. Short trails spill into citrus groves and river beds and field-stacked rock. The rising heat is stifling — but its break is inevitable. The eastern peaks, pink at dusk, impose.

Benefits

Cold process soap retains its natural glycerin — the moisturizing byproduct of saponification that commercial manufacturers typically remove. That's what keeps the bar conditioning without feeling heavy.

Coconut oil, palm oil, and palm kernel oil provide hardness, longevity, and cleansing power. Castor oil builds lather volume and stability. Olive oil and shea butter adds creaminess to the lather and softness to the skin. The balance produces a bar that works for face, hands, and body without stripping.

Essential oils of litsea cubeba, grapefruit, orange, bergamot, petitgrain, tagetes, coriander, ylang ylang, pepper, frankincense, myrrh, labdanum — listed in order of scent experience from top to base.

How To Use

Lather and use for face, hands, or body. Keep the bar on a rack between uses — out of standing wate, cold process soap lasts significantly longer. A washcloth or loofah extends the bar and improves lather efficiency.
